Congressman Brett Guthrie represents Kentucky’s Second Congressional District. Following his military service in the Army, Guthrie joined a Bowling Green-based manufacturing business started by his father and later represented the 32nd District in the Kentucky Senate.

Guthrie was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2008 and currently serves as chairman of the powerful Energy and Commerce Committee.
